Start a Grid Bot
A Grid Bot averages into a coin in steps as it dips and sells each step into strength. Set capital, steps, and triggers — Filo handles the rest.
The Grid Bot buys a coin in steps as the price falls (averaging down), and sells each step once it rises by your target. No leverage, no liquidation. It suits ranging or recovering markets, not one-way downtrends.
The main settings
- Capital — total USDC the bot may deploy across all its steps.
- Steps — how many buy levels to spread that capital across.
- Buy trigger (%) — how far the price must drop from the last entry before the bot buys the next step.
- Sell trigger (%) — how far a step must rise from its own entry before the bot takes profit on it.
- Trailing profit (optional) — instead of selling at a fixed target, let the profit "ride" and sell only when it pulls back, to capture bigger moves.
- Crash guard (optional) — pause new buys during a sharp, fast drop so the bot does not load up into a falling knife; it resumes when the price steadies.
Turn it on
- Go to Grid Bot and create a new grid for a coin.
- Set capital, steps, and triggers. Defaults are sensible if you are unsure.
- Make sure your Spot balance is funded, then start it.
If buys pause with "low balance", top up your Spot USDC — the bot resumes automatically within about an hour, or you can resume it manually. Sells keep running either way.
